I think that empowerment of employees can be done effectively by an effective leader by ensuring that the employees are give equal opportunities for participating in the decision-making process in an organization. The participation of the employees must not be just a formality but they must be allowed to implement their suggested decisions/resolutions in crisis situations. There can also be taking of ownership by empowered employees in situations when decisions taken by them might have backfired or failed to resolve crisis situations. According to Han et al.
